Mario Almanza

Mario's love of photography began as a hobby, but he soon realized that he wanted to devote his career to his craft. The epiphany came when he received his first professional SLR camera as a gift. Instead of sitting on a shelf collecting dust, it went with him everywhere! He photographed everything he could find and soon, after experimenting with concepts, researching and learning  the techniques of his craft, he realized that his passion was photography...and so the journey begins.

And now 13 years later, after photographing the Rockets at the Toyota Center, Emmitt Smith playing golf, a girls dance school which was a treat to watch them get into character, a Circus shoot if you can believe it and to round of the highlights a few mayoral events... he is now a photographer that, like only a few can say, has made an impact on his community here in Houston.
